Justice League, Avengers: Infinity War, Deadpool 2 - 2. If you are a comic superhero geek like me, now is the best time to live in. For Hollywood is going through a superhero boom, that is not going to end anytime soon.

We have all watched and loved Iron Man, The Dark Knight trilogy, X- Men series, Spider- Man movies, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers and now Wonder Woman. And there is a lot more to come in the months ahead. Four major studios in Hollywood have some very exciting projects ready for us. Disney- Marvel, the running leaders in the race, continue to develop some terrific sounding movies. Close on their heels are Warner Brothers and DC collaboration, that is pumped up by the success of Wonder Woman. There is Sony Pictures who is currently sharing Spider- Man with Marvel Studios but is developing Spidey spinoffs of their own. And we have Fox Studios, who gave the best superhero movie of the year with Logan, but are struggling to make a proper X- Men movie that will be loved by fans.

And who can forget the recent release Spider- Man: Homecoming? So for the sake of all the superhero movie fans in India, we have compiled 1. Please do remember that just like how Life is so unpredictable, we can also say the same about the production of these movies, some of which can have their release dates changed or may even get shelved. Thor: Ragnarok. Scheduled Date: November 3, 2. The first two Thor movies were always considered as the weaker movies in the MCU, but the upcoming third movie could change all that as Thor takes on the Hulk in a gladiator match, that is organised by Jeff freaking Goldblum who plays Grandmaster.

Tom Hiddleston as Loki will return, but the villain of the piece will be played by Cate Blanchett. Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther made a scintillating debut in Captain America: Civil War, and fans were eager to watch him in his sole adventure.

Well, it is about to come in the first quarter of 2. Directed by Ryan Coogler (Creed), the movie also boasts a strong supporting cast involving the likes of Lupita Nyongo, Michael B Jordan, Angela Bassett, Daniel Kaluuya, Andy Serkis and Forest Whitaker.

The Flash. Scheduled Date: March 2. After Wonder Woman, we are all set to get a new superhero movie in the form of The Flash. Fans of the TV show will find it difficult to imagine anyone apart from the brilliant Grant Gustin as the scarlet speedster.

But going by the trailer of Justice League, Ezra Miller is not a bad choice as the fastest man alive. Avengers: Infinity War. Scheduled Date: May 4, 2. Easily the most anticipated movie of next year, Avengers is going to get bigger and badder in its third installment, that’s directed by Russo Brothers (Captain America: Civil War). We will be seeing Iron Man, Spider- Man, Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor, The Hulk, Black Widow all fighting against the Big Bad, Thanos, whom Marvel has been teasing for some time. Some casualties bound to happen! Deadpool 2. Scheduled Date: June 1, 2.

The wise- cracking merc with a mouth is all set to break the fourth wall once again, as Ryan Reynolds will put on the garb of everyone’s favourite R- Rated superhero. This time, he is in splendid company of Josh Brolin, who after terrorising Avengers as Thanos will now be playing the time- travelling mutant, Cable. The Incredibles 2. Scheduled Date: June 1. The best superhero family is back! After more than a decade since the first Incredibles movie got so much love all over from the world, we are finally going to see Mr Incredible and his super family taking on the bad guys, with most of the voice cast returning. Let’s hope Shah Rukh Khan will voice Mr Incredible again for the Hindi version, like he did the last time.

Ant- Man and The Wasp. Scheduled Date: July 6, 2. The surprise success of Ant- Man, and the likeable charm of Paul Rudd as the pint- sized superhero has awarded the movie a sequel. This time, Evangeline Lilly will also get to play a superhero of her own, as she gets to don the costume of the Wasp.

Venom. Scheduled Date: October 5, 2. Spider- Man’s most dangerous foe will have a spin- off of his own, as Tom Hardy has been signed to play the title role. Though Spider- Man won’t be a part of the movie, the casting of the lead character itself has made things exciting for all Spidey fans. Plus, the executives at Sony Pictures have confirmed that there would be a horror spin to the tale. The Batman. Scheduled Date: October 5, 2. After getting good reviews for his performance as the caped crusader in Batman V Superman, there have been news circulating that Ben Affleck will have his solo venture, that he himself would be directing. However, things have changed a lot  since then – Affleck is not directing the movie anymore, preferring to be directed by someone else.

However, with the lack of any development on that front, there are also talks that the movie will be shelved. Aquaman. Scheduled Date: December 2. Jason Momoa’s badass turn as the King of the Oceans in the Justice League trailer was loved by everyone. Now he will have his solo adventure with James Wan (Conjuring, Furious 7) directing the movie.

X- Men: Dark Phoenix. Scheduled Date: November 2nd, 2. After the critical drubbing for X- Men: Apocalypse, Fox is going very subdued on the development of this X- Men saga, that will focus on Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones)’s turn as Jean Grey/Phoenix. Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James Mc. Avoy, Nicholas Hoult, Alexandra Shipp, Tye Sheridan, and Kodi Smit- Mc. Phee will al be returning, as Jessica Chastain will be playing the villain.

Untitled Animated Spider- Man movie. Scheduled Date: December 2. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the men behind the 2 Jump Street movies and The Lego Movie, will be writing this animated movie about the webbed crawler, and knowing the talent of these men, we are sure this will be one awesome experience. Captain Marvel. Scheduled Date: March 8, 2. There is a very less possibility of Scarlett Johansson will have her solo movie as Black Widow. But MCU will have its female superhero movie in the form of Captain Marvel with Academy Award winning actress Brie Larson (Room) taking on the lead role.

However, she will be making her debut in Avengers: Infinity War. Shazam. Scheduled Date: April 5, 2.

Could be postponed or shelved)Another DC movie that could or not happen. The superhero movie about a child who could turn into a powerful being was supposed to be an exciting prospect, especially after they signed The Rock to play the villain, Black Adam more than two years ago. But apart from Johnson, there has been no actor or director who has been signed on for the project.

There are talks that instead of a Shazam movie, they will make a Black Adam movie instead. Avengers 4. Scheduled Date: May 3, 2.

Earlier titled Avengers: Infinity War Part II, the Marvel executives have now confirmed that this will be a separate saga. We are not sure who all will be there in the movie, that could be tha last MCU movie Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth would be appearing in, that is, if their characters survive Infinity War.

Justice League Part Two. Scheduled Date: June 1. A whole lot will depend on the success and critical acclaim of the first Justice League movie, and whether Ben Affleck is still interested in playing Batman. But we are sure DC and Warner Bros will be pushing this one, nevertheless, even if director Zack Snyder might not return for the fourth time. Spider- Man: Homecoming 2 Scheduled Date: July 5, 2.
